Beneath the valley sleeps the Great Onigiri, who dreamed the Onigiri Land into being. As it dreamed, it steamed — and its glowing dream-steam dripped into the roots, growing lantern-lit villages, singing trenches, and the towering Rice Heart tree at the plaza.
Something startled the Great Onigiri mid-dream. The steam stopped. The Rice Heart withered, the woods sank into trenches, and the Onigiris scattered — all except the steamiest, sleepiest bloodline: yours.
You wake at the plaza with a hammer, a nap habit, and steam that still carries a spark of the old dream. Every quest you finish stirs the Rice Heart awake — and when you stand still and daydream, your steam makes the plants grow faster. Restore the valley to 100% and the Heart will bloom.
Each zone has its own loop — and its own villager who needs your help.

Every Onigiri has a village of their own — cottages, fences, a name-sign, and garden beds you can actually plant. Buy seeds at the main garden stall, walk over, wave hello (their player ID floats right above their head), and leave a pumpkin growing in their plot as a gift.
WASD to move, Shift to run, Space to boing. Press E to gather nodes and talk to villagers.
Press B to build homes, or step into the barn and garden to collect milk and harvest crops on their own loops.
